Ray L. HONG of Team91 produced the Korean feature film “Festival” (2020).

The film follows Kyeong-man, an unknown MC who makes a living by hosting small events while taking care of his hospitalized father together with his younger sister, Kyeong-mi. When their father suddenly passes away, Kyeong-man is confronted with the harsh reality of not even being able to afford the funeral. Over the three days of the funeral, the siblings’ story unfolds as a bittersweet yet heartfelt journey.

As the producer, Ray L. HONG oversaw overall project management and production, ensuring the smooth progress of the film and contributing to its completion.

Festival was recognized at the 2020 Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival, winning Best Korean Fantastic Film, Fantastic Best Actor, Fantastic Audience Award, and the Distribution Award. In 2021, it also received the Producer Award at the 8th Wildflower Film Awards, further acknowledging both the film’s quality and its production value.
